What an inspiring day here at Common Roots Farm! Heidi Cartan, Executive Director for Common Roots Farm said, “Partnership is Everything.”
Helpers Artisan Boutique was invited to participate with a pop-up in an inclusive community event hosted by Common Roots Farm Santa Cruz and Building for Generations whose mission is to support education projects for people with developmental challenges.
Building for Generations is currently working on 3 projects:
-Chinch’s Baja, Peru where they are constructing a resource and rehabilitation Center.
-The Building Rhythm Project in Santa Cruz Ca has a music program serving 90+ adults with developmental disabilities and 10 children’s classrooms in Santa Cruz, CA.
– Arusha, Tanzania – Purchases of products and donations go towards a 3-classroom block construction and auditorium for the Secei Elementary School and coaching graduate students, and a lunch program.
Organizations we partner with LSA and Monterey Bay Horsemanship Therapeutic Center had resource and product tables here also!
