The Helpers Artisan Boutique (HAB) Collaboration, Inclusion, and Community all have enabled HAB to continue to expand artists’ opportunity and to grow as a voice and marketplace for artists enabling expanded creativity, recognition, accessibility and confidence. At our third annual Meet the Artist Event 10/25/2025, we were thrilled to introduce new artists Joseph Omolayole from Creativity Explored, Anna Price from Cedars, and Robert Humphreys from Alchemia, and welcome back Matthaus, Monique Harris, Sarah Carlson, Michael Lauer, and Gerald Wiggins. The event shines a spotlight on artists’ art and talent connecting us to a broader audience, bringing artists’ confidence, pride, and self sufficiency.

Community strengthens inclusion. At the event, Legislative Aide, Mick Del Rosario, on behalf of Stephen Sherrill, Supervisor for District 2 Board of Supervisors, presented us with Certificates of Honor from the SF District Board of Supervisors, and from the Department of Cultural Affairs, The San Francisco Arts Commission, for “showcasing the work of neuro diverse artists across the Bay Area and Helpers’ commitment to accessibility, creativity, and compassion which enriches the lives and strengthens the fabric of San Francisco.” Collaboration strengthens accessibility and impact. HAB continues with AbilityPath, Futures Explored, and thought partner, Cedars, to raise recognition about the talent neurodiverse artists have and to increase visibility for their art with the launch of Creative Spotlight ™. We will be moving forward with next steps in the coming months and look forward to sharing.
