Hello Fall!

A vibrant and active Summer has come and gone. We are grateful for your continued commitment and support as we build inclusivity and impact in the community with the Helpers’ Artisan Boutique, a market place and “Voice for Artists,” our grant programs which provide solutions to partnering organizations, and our two resident homes which are loving group living homes for Pomeroy Center Residents.

New News

Helpers Artisan Boutique welcomes a new artist, Julia Pozsgai. “I choose to make art because it is peaceful, loving and magical.” Julia has been painting, doing fiber arts, metal and clay jewelry and small sculptures since she was a teen. An entrepreneur, she started her art business, Pansy Creations in 2014. Her artwork is vibrant, colorful with graphic design elements and often has to do with nature and birds.

She has had one woman art shows, and has exhibited at Alchemia Gallery in Petaluma, the Petaluma Arts Center, Gensler Architectural Firm in SF, and was one of top twelve finalists as an emerging artist in Sonoma County recognized by Creative Sonoma. In 2017 she was juried into the Arts Guild of Sonoma. Julia is aligned with Sweetwater Spectrum in Sonoma.

Helpers provides two loving group living residences for Pomeroy Center clients who call them home. We are facing immediate significant challenges with ageing infrastructure that threatens our ability to continue this vital work.

If you have been considering making a difference in quality of life and our mission to support adults with developmental disabilities, please consider a gift of support.
