Hello Helpers Community!

Building 2024

The New Year started with a look at ways to positively impact the community we serve.   We do so with a process of discovery, planning, and initiation with new and valued continuing partners. All with the objectives of making a difference with our grant programs, finding new and continuing ways to be a “Voice for Artists” featuring their products and art which bring joy and sparkle to our customers at the Helpers Artisan Boutique. We continue to  provide loving group living homes for residents at our two homes.

Grant Programs

Starting with our Grant Programs, effective January 2024 we will move to one Grant Cycle a year, a Fall Grant Cycle.

All Letters of intent must be received by June 30, 2024.  Requests will be made for full proposals where the Helpers Board of Directors determines necessary. If a full proposal is requested, it must be received by August 30th, 2024.  Final approvals will be made by September 30th.  For additional information please see the Helpers Website, https://helperssf.org/grant-process/

LSA – Hatikvah House, Campbell CA. Solar Panels added, house painted, new fence added, WIP.

The Group Living Homes provide residents’ opportunities to pursue their interests, explore what San Francisco has to offer, and Pomeroy Center Day Programs. In SF it is difficult to find affordable housing and the 10 residents have been together for 4 years living as a family.  Maintaining the homes is costly and Helpers appreciates your donations to help make this sustainable.
